Sanjam (I’m Dreaming)

The world is consciousness itself, a swirling, turbulent mass of green and yellow energy cresting in a massive wave. At the heart of this vortex hangs a yellow ball of tangled thread, the origin of the wave, a pure thought expanding into reality.

In the foreground, half-shrouded in darkness, stands the dreamer: a woman with long, dark hair. Her face is split between wakefulness and deep REM, her expression ambiguous, her body the anchor for the visual storm that unfolds around her.

Around her, the dream characters gather. Bright green monkeys cluster like mischievous sprites, silently observing. Above them, a solemn-faced girl in a blue dress stands in shadow, the keeper of forgotten details. Floating beside the sprites, the famous smile of the Mona Lisa appears, now simply a participant in the dream’s internal logic. A gentle, large hand reaches in, offering guidance or comfort, while small, white sheep stand calmly on the horizon, a tether to placid reality.

This moment is the center of her night. She is not merely dreaming; she is the entire, chaotic, beautiful thing she sees.
