Influenced
The immense words INFLUENCED loom over the horizon, their shadow falling across a restless, dark blue sea and the entranced woman, Mara. The pressure is intense and inescapable.
Inside a giant hourglass, a distorted measure of time, two figures struggle with the shifting sand. Curled in the lower bulb is a woman, exhausted, her bright red curls a frantic contrast to the gloom. She is weighed down by the terror: “I Don’t have Enough Time.”
Above her, standing in the narrow neck, a man in a suit perpetually looks through binoculars at the distant, perfect sunset. He is the agent of influence, constantly consuming information, yet forever trapped inside the glass container of measurement. He sees the world, but he cannot touch the sea.
Meanwhile, oblivious to the immense forces of time and influence, an audience of three stands quietly on the shore, watching the water. They are the only ones outside the system, representing a brief, human moment of connection and autonomy.
The entire scene is a loop of external pressure: the woman cries for time, the man demands observation, and the world yells to be INFLUENCED.
