Fractured Reality

The moment shatters. Ilija screams, his face frozen, mouth agape, eyes pleading, trapped within a fractured world. His cry echoes in the void, unheard by the masked fortune teller. She is the gatekeeper of time, her gaze fixed on the glowing blue crystal poised on its skeletal stand.

She signals the world beyond calling it’s dreams. A miniature Earth, wrapped in green life yet shaped like a strange technological device, tilts precariously over scattered blueprints. From within it, a disembodied red-gloved hand reaches outward, perhaps signaling rescue, or perhaps farewell.

Below, a happy couple smile, oblivious to the chaos above, caught in a moment of arrival or departure. Over them hovers the blurred game of Hopscotch, its word “Start”, symbolizing the beginning of the story in this tangled, layered universe. Here, every fragment of reality is a memory, a desire, a fear, held together by secrets within the blue crystal. Fractured Reality is not a place but a state of continuous, exquisite collapse.
